Sister’s Care Center at Response to Love
Getting and staying healthy is important! It is also a challenge. Sometimes people need help getting healthy. Sister’s Care Center is here to give you the help you need.
Sister’s Care Center is staffed by volunteer nurses and other volunteer health workers. Our staff cares about your health and will work with you one-on-one to help improve your health.
Services We Provide:
Ø Create for you your own personal electronic health record using MORTARsm
Ø Help you find a primary medical doctor
Ø Help you apply for health insurance
Ø Refer you to community agencies
Ø Keep track of your blood pressure and weight
Ø Keep track of medical screenings you are due for
Ø Counsel you on medical conditions you may have
Ø Counsel you on medications you may be taking
Ø Help you find ways to improve your health
It is important to understand that Sister’s Care Center is not a medical clinic. We will not be doing exams or handing out medications. We will not be your primary doctor. But we will work with your primary doctor to help you improve your well-being.
At Sister’s Care Center we believe that each person should care about their health. We also care about your health, so we will work together with you to find ways to make you healthier.
All of the services we provide are free and confidential.
We will always inform you first if we must share your health information in order to help you.
We are located on the third floor of the Response to Love Center.
