Come and See Ministry Week

 

The “Come and See” ministry week began Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Response to Love Center.

Coming together to share the “Felician Spirit” charism and ministry, Sister Marybeth (Chicago) Sister Elizabeth (New Jersey) and Sister Kathryn Marie from Buffalo and a group of young adults met at the Response to Love Center. They were greeted by Sister Catherine, Sister Rose and Sister Johnice, and enjoyed sharing of a meal. Following dinner a tour of the Response to Love Center was given by the Sisters at the Center, that opened the ministry week.

Later all gathered for a special time of prayer and reflection calling to mind the need for all to “LISTEN, PRAY and RESPOND.” 

The story of the Response to Love Center was told by Sister Johnice, Founder and Director of the center. As the evening concluded, a schedule of events for the week was presented. 

Sr. Johnice welcomes all the visitors for 2012 Come and See Week.

This week is “Spirit Driven and Blessed by God. May we bring to the lives of the poor the Compassionate Presence of Jesus to all.”
