We search for ways to serve those in need, yet before our eyes, in our own midst, God presents us with opportunities each day. At Response to Love Center, with a spirit of prayerfulness and God’s Grace, we are all brought to the awareness of God’s presence, and we listen to His gentle whispers and many invitations as we serve the poor. We are blessed to meet people in their brokenness, vulnerability and hurt; some are in need of forgiveness, acceptance and love. Others are forgotten, cast aside and lonely!

We each share our giftedness through a genuine smile, a word of encouragement and a compassionate presence that brightens the sadness in a dark moment, fills the emptiness of a hardened heart, and lightens the heavy load in a burdened life.
We extend the invitation to you,

Response To Love Center Newsletter

The Response to Love Center held the “Spring 2007 Three Ways to Win Raffle” on Monday April 16th at 1pm. The drawing was held in Sr. Johnice’s office.

The Sisters of the Response to Love Center pulled the winning tickets from a bucket. In addition to the prizes for the actual raffle a special bonus sellers drawing resulted in a total of six winners. In addition everyone that participated is a winner helping our mission.

On Holy Saturday the baskets are brought to the Altar at St. Adalbert’s Basilica to be Blessed by Rev. Thaddeus Bocianowski Pastor of St. Adalbert’s.

They are then delivered to the shut-ins later that day. The visits are a special time for both the Sisters and the recipients of the baskets. They become a symbol of the Love God has for All his children young and old at this Most Holy time of year.
