Our dining room feeds between 140-300 people a day. We serve a  well balanced meal, juice and dessert.

Personal care items and baby items are available twice a year. Residency requirements apply.

Our food pantry provides people with take home food once a month. We try to tailor the contents of the bag to the client. If someone is without cooking facilities or refrigeration a snap-cap canned meal, ready to be served and eaten. Cereals are needed for children; oatmeal and Ensure for the elderly.

The electric service for 90% of Buffalo residents was lost and food was spoiling quickly. The power at the center was also lost and we too were at risk of losing thousands of dollars worth of food in our freezers. The weekend of the 14th and 15th was spent trying to secure a backup power source to save our food. Thru the determination and persistence of Sister Johnice and Robert Sprague our business manager we contacted FEMA on Monday morning. At 10pm Monday the Army

We celebrated the beginning of the month of October with a day trip to Mount Saviour Monastery just south of Corning NY. The day was a chance for our team leaders to relax, reflect and recharge in a spirit of union with God and nature.

Little did we know how much we would need that rest, for just 2 days later the October Surprise Storm hit Buffalo and the Response To Love Center hard.  

Corps of Engineers came to assess the centers needs and assigned a 35KW diesel generator to save our food. The generator was installed, up and running at 3:45am on Tuesday morning.
